Western Region Working Group

The Western Region Working Group (WRWG) is a representative group of settlement service providers in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the Yukon Territory. It was established by CISSA-ACSEI to focus on promising practices in the areas of organizational development, research, professional development and service delivery in the settlement and integration sector of Western Canada.

Purpose:

  • To increase lines of communication between Service Providing Organizations (SPOs) in the Western Region
  • To increase lines of communication between SPOs in the Western Region and the¬†Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada
  • To identify commonalities, gaps and trends in immigration and service delivery in the Western Region
  • To represent a unified voice for the Western Region
